Delfina Pignatiello is a talented 24-year-old director and photographer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Before embarking on her artistic journey, Delfina spent many years devoted to sports as a member of the Argentinian swimming team and an Olympic athlete. This experience ingrained in her the values of discipline, responsibility, and teamwork.

"I believe swimming and photography have very much in common: every time I go underwater, my head opens wide like the blue sea full of ideas and creativity. Every time I get out, I grab my notebook and write my craziest occurrences. Then, when fantasy meets face to face with an opportunity to become a reality, I take what I've learnt from concentration and the focus of thinking of every stroke with detail, every harmonized slip with the water sensitivity, keeping the breathing rate and the pulse carrying it all to the camera that I have between my hands, to portray a new moment."

In 2023, Delfina published a book titled "Diarios de Delfin," which she authored. The book features photographs taken over two years, all with a reference to water. She began her career as a music photographer, capturing the essence of shows and festivals. Delfina has worked at Lollapalooza Argentina and with renowned artists such as Duki, Bizarrap, Nicki Nicole, Trueno, Conociendo Rusia, YSY A, and several local bands.

Her interest soon expanded to fashion and the behind-the-scenes activities of filming sets, fostering a deeper understanding of filmmaking and cinema. This shift in focus has led her to pursue a new goal: becoming a director. Delfina has directed commercials for major brands like Pandora, Coca-Cola, and the River Plate Foundation, as well as several music videos. She remains open to exploring new creative avenues, yet has found that movement, sports, and action, combined with sensitive storytelling, form the core of her aesthetic.
